We present results of high-resolution near-infrared (Js, H and Ks) imaging data obtained with the VLT/ISAAC instrument for IRAS 09002-4732 and IRAS 16177-5018, two luminous IR sources with radio continuum and molecular-line emission indicating ongoing massive star formation. The deep near-IR (NIR) images show two embedded clusters of young stars. We identify a population of pre-main sequence (PMS) stars according to their NIR excess.
