The ionized stellar winds from massive young stellar objects (YSOs) are weak, compact, thermal radio sources. Resolution of these radio sources provides information on the geometry of the mass-loss and hence, constraints on the driving mechanism responsible. The few high-resolution radio observations made so far have revealed that some objects have radio jets similar to their low-mass counterparts. However, others have been discovered to have equatorial winds perpendicular to the larger scale bipolar molecular outflows. New multi-epoch observations of the equatorial wind in S140IRS 1 are presented. The proper motions detected confirm that this is not a radio jet. They also demonstrate strong structural variability on timescales of a month. These are discussed in terms of possible driving mechanisms.
