Deep charge coupled device photometry of the Galactic nuclear bulge has been obtained along four lines of sight near the bulge's minor axis. For an adopted distance of 6.9 kpc, the mean age derived from the main sequence turnoff is 11 plus or minus 3 Gyr. The fraction of stars with ages less than 5 Gyr is insignificant, unless the youngest stars are much more metal rich than the average. The mean metal abundance decreases with radium by approx. 0.4 dex from 0.5 to 1.2 kpc. Abundances derived from giant branch colors are several tenths of a dex lower than those derived from the main sequence turnoff. The later are consistent with spectroscopic determinations of metallicity, implying that the bulge giants are bluer or more luminous than solar neighborhood giants of similar age and metal abundance.
