Results of deep CCD photometry of two overlapping fields in the Draco dwarf spheroidal galaxy are reported. It is found that (B-V)0.g = 0.69 mag, indicating a mean Fe/H = -2.0. The width of the giant branch at magnitudes below the horizontal branch is observed to be much wider than the observational errors permit, and it is concluded that there is a spread in metallicities among the Draco giants of about 0.8 dex. Draco is found to contain numerous blue stragglers, like almost all other loosely bound halo systems. The number of such stars more massive than about 1.2 solar masses is roughly consistent with the number of anomalous Cepheids previously discovered. It is not clear whether the blue stragglers represent a large number of mass-transfer binaries, an intermediate-age population, or both. A younger-population component would help explain the red color of the galaxy's horizontal branch. Signs of such a younger population are seen in the color-magnitude diagram. Finally, the data obtained from the higher S/N data of the stars measured in both fields hint that star formation in Draco might have been episodic, with bursts separated by several billion years.
