DETECTION of 3.45-cm. radiation from the planet Saturn has been
accomplished with an X-band ruby maser radiometer1,2
installed on the 85-ft. (26 m.) diameter, paraboloidal antenna at the
University of Michigan's Radio Astronomy Observatory3.
