The Variable Star Section's Eclipsing Binary Programme has recently been reorganized. The work is varied and useful, and may suit members who do not have the opportunity to carry out continuous observations of variable stars. The objects studied are those considered suitable for visual observations with naked eye, binoculars and small telescopes; but observations by other methods or of fainter objects will be welcome.
