Observations over the past number of years have cast significant doubt on the current paradigm describing the geometry of the accretion flow in the low-hard state. Here, we summarize the relevant observations in addition to a number of new Suzaku observations and discuss their implications for the geometry of the accretion flow in the low-hard state.
