We present near-infrared molecular Hydrogen observations of selected regions within the rho Ophiuchi cloud. We report new molecular hydrogen emission objects within the cloud. The morphology of these objects and their spatial relationships with optical HH objects and young stellar objects will be discussed. In addition we present JHK data of the regions and discuss possible outflow drivers and other nearby young stellar objects.
