Star-Forming Regions: Masers
Scientific paper
Observations and theoretical interpretations of interstellar masers are discussed. The authors present physical conditions and maser activities of seven well-known star-forming regions namely W3(OH), W3(cont.), Sgr B2, W49N, W49S, W51 and OMC-1. Four strong interstellar masers (CH3OH, SiO, OH, H2O) are considered covering both observations and pumping considerations.
