General Relativity: Tests
Scientific paper
Within the framework of a post-post-Newtonian Lagrangian for a test body in the field of a massive central source it is shown that the observables in the classical tests of general relativity, namely, the periastron advance and the orbital period, are independent of the choice of the coordinate systems. In other words they are invariant under reparametrization of space coordinates.
