Experimental data on long-period variations of solar UV radiation, critical frequencies of the F2-region, and the F10.7 index are analyzed, and it is shown that the relationship of these parameters has a hysteretic character. Thus, the use of the F10.7 index in ionosphere models as the index of long-period variations of the solar UV radiation may lead to a divergence between calculations and measurements of the critical frequencies of the F2-region amounting to 20-30 percent.
