The solution presently obtained for a model problem for meteoroid break-up, single-event crumbling, and gradual crumbling and husking, indicates that the neglect of meteoroid fragmentation characteristics can result in erroneous bulk-density estimates for bodies generating radar meteors. All parameters encompassed by the present computations were identical with those of Bibarsov and Cheboratev (1972). It is shown that the neglect of husking can lead to large bulk density errors.
