Correlations between the factor M(3000)F2 and several indices of solar
activity show that - independently of the kind of index, location and
season - there occurs a significant hysteresis. The same holds for
correlations between M(3000)F2 and f0F2. Apparently the sense of
rotation changes irregularly and depends on the cycle number.
