An analysis of all generalized soliton solutions for the cosmological Einstein-Rosen metric generated by transforming the Kasner metric is presented. Besides some new solutions, several well known cosmological solutions, as well as the recently discussed composite universes, are seen to fall within this class of soliton solutions. The properties of the solutions are briefly explained.
