The field of W33 was observed in the 18-cm OH lines with the Nancay
radio telescope in 1978. Dense molecular clouds as well as type IIc OH
emission sources have been detected near the type I OH masers W33A, B,
C, suggesting that type IIc OH emission sources represent such clouds.
