The high-velocity star HD 46703 is a field analog of the rare A- and F-type supergiants, that lie several magnitudes above the horizontal branches in globular clusters. In a previous abundance analysis of HD 46703 it was shown that carbon and oxygen are overabundant by factors of more than 10. New observations reveal an extreme overabundance of nitrogen; a spectrum-synthesis analysis yields [N/Fe] = +1.8. Sulfur is also overabundant with [S/Fe] = +1.2. Implications of these results for nucleosynthesis in evolved stars is discussed. It is speculated that the excess sulfur is 32S that was synthesized during a core helium flash through successive alpha captures on 12C.
