New photoelectric observations in two wavelengths (B and V) of the W UMa-type system SW Lacertae are presented. The light curves of the system are analysed by using frequency domain techniques and new geometric and photometric elements are given. These elements are combined with the available spectroscopic data of the system and new absolute elements of SW Lac are derived. The light variations and period changes of the system are also discussed.
