The paper presents UBVRI photoelectric photometry for 70 stars in the field of NGC 2264. Attention is given to a comparison of these data with Walker's UBV photometry which indicates possible small light variations for a number of stars, and a significant change for W 90. It is reported that the (B-V, V-R) diagram clearly shows at least one T Tauri-like object and a possible carbon star, which is probably a background star. Finally, nearly 40 percent of the stars have variable velocities or probable variable velocities.
