The compact radio sources CTD 93 and 3C 395 have been mapped at a wavelength of 18 cm with a six-station VLBI array. The mapping algorithm utilizes both fringe amplitude and closure phase. Both sources exhibit a double structure which is morphologically similar to that of many double radio sources but whose linear extents are much smaller: approximately 400 pc for CTD 93 and approximately 140 pc for 3C 395. The sources may be interpreted as the progenitors of larger double sources into which they are evolving.
