It is shown that the eigenvalues of nonradial oscillation for spherical configurations are at most double. The condition under which they are single is given. It is shown that during an avoided crossing two modes exchange their properties. During the interaction, the two eigenfunctions are weighted means of these eigenfunctions computed far from the interaction.
