Results are presented from simultaneous single pulse observations at 410 MHz, 928 MHz, and 5860 MHz. The pulsars PSR 1133+16 and 1929+10 show correlations between single pulse intensity fluctuations over the whole frequency range. It is proposed that the dynamics of electron-proton pair production in the jump of electric potential above the surface of a neutron star may determine single pulse intensity fluctuations over a broad radio frequency range.
