Quasars: Luminosity Function, Quasars: Evolution

Scientific paper

The authors give a review on recent progress in luminosity function and evolution of optical quasars. At small redshift it has reached a quite consistent conclusion. At z > 2.2, due to the limit of QSO samples, there are still many differences of opinion in the evolution of the QSO luminosity function. They also compare the properties of optical, radio and X-ray luminosity functions of quasars.
