A new UV laser/MC-ICPMS method for obtaining precise measurements of
25Mg/24Mg and 26Mg/24Mg in situ in geological materials shows that
chondrules from the Allende meteorite exhibit mass-dependent variations
in magnesium isotope ratios > 1 per mil.
