Gravitational Lensing, Radio Continuum: General

We present a wide-field lambda18-cm European VLBI Network (EVN) map of the gravitational lens system 2016+112. The map shows the main regions of radio emission previously designated A, B, C_1 and C_2. C_2 may be a third lensed radio image. C_1 is clearly resolved into three main components C_11, C_12 and C_13. The nature of C_1 is unclear, but its peculiar radio structure favours a lensing interpretation.
