The paper gives some basic information on the 1:250,000 scale lunar orthophotomaps and topographic orthophotomaps, the base of which was compiled from vertical metric photography from Apollo missions 15, 16, and 17. A list of available maps published through January, 1975, is given. The Geographic Coordinate System and the Lunar Transverse Mercator Grid System are described, and a key for locating map sheets of the 1:350,000 scale maps is provided. Special scale maps with detailed analysis of limited areas of special interest are also listed.
