Distribution of titanium in Ca-, Al-rich inclusions (CAIs) seems to be related with the petrographical types. In types A, B and C, and the other hibonite-bearing CAIs, titanium mainly distributes in perovskite, fassaite and hibonite. In plagioclase-olivine inclusions (POIs), however, armalcolite [(Mg, Fe, Ca)Ti2O5] and an unidentified titanium mineral series referred as to mineral T [R^2+R^4+(sub)3O(sub)7 - R^3+(sub)2R^4+(sub)2O(sub)7] were the major Ti-bearing phases besides Ca-rich pyroxene. We also found armalcolite and mineral T in a POI in the Ningqiang carbonaceous chondrite, anomalous CV3 or anomalous CK3. Furthermore, we found the other Ti-oxides including rutile, geikielite and Ca-armalcolite. This is the first report of geikielite and Ca-armalcolite, and the second report of mineral T in meteorites. We proposed that formation of these Ti-oxides is related to high concentration of TiO2 in the relict melt after crystallization of Ti-poor major phases of anorthite, spinel, olivine and pyroxenes.
