Detailed photometry of NGC 936, is used to extract the bulge, bar, and disk components of the SB0 galaxy. Analytic approximations to the luminosity profiles of each component are given to provide a reference for constructing bar models. The galaxy dynamics are examined, assuming a constant mass/light ratio. The major families of periodic orbits are identified, and constraints are placed on the allowable pattern speed. Predictions are made for the bar streaming velocities that would be observed at various position angles. These predictions are compared with existing kinematic data for the galaxy.
