Results are presented from spectral evolutionary synthesis modeling of metal-poor star forming regions. A description is given of the stellar data base used, including the effects of stellar mass loss and convective overshooting, the absorption features, and luminosity indicators. The gaseous emission component and synthesis method are discussed. Several models of the spectral evolution of the regions are calculated and compared with empirical data.
