The satellite-TV time signal comparison system set up at NTSC (National Time Service Center) is introduced briefly. The methods to determine the time delay of the time signals inserted into the CTV signals, which are transmitted only by satellites or relayed by local TV station as well, with the time signal comparison system are presented and the measurements are analysed, being of referential value to timing users.
