Spectral variations of a large sample of LMXBs observed by Exosat are described. The measured X-ray spectrum was decomposed into three energy bands and plotted into color-color and hardness-intensity diagrams. The color-color data of the bright sources were mathematically parameterized using a detailed spectral analysis of Cyg X-2 and Sco X-2. It is found that a Z-shaped color-color correlation pattern characterizes most of the bright sources.
