The results of several surveys at the Northern Ecliptic Pole are presented. The surveys cover the area of 1 deg2 in the optical filters Bj and R and 0.9 deg2 in the near infrared filter K. Methods and programs used to compile the object catalogs are described in detail. Limiting magnitudes in Bj, R and K are 24.25 mag, 23.0 mag and 17.5 mag, respectively. The angular distribution of galaxies in the K survey is determined by computing the angular correlation function. The amplitude of the angular correlation function of galaxies K < 17.0 mag is in accordance with the expected value for stable clustering. The contribution of different morphological type to the population of Bj and K selected galaxies is estimated from the color distributions. While the color distribution of the galaxies selected in Bj is mainly characterized by spiral galaxies, the color distribution of the galaxies selected in K requires a large amount of early type galaxies. Radio sources from different surveys at flux levels in the mJy regime are identified in the object catalogs. Elliptical galaxies and actively star-forming galaxies make up the predominant part of the radio identifications.
