We present HST and ground-based photometry of Fornax's globular clusters and the surrounding field populations. Age estimates for the globular clusters are given. The data show position-dependent variations in the field star formation history and metallicity. Star formation lasted several Gyr longer in the central region of Fornax, which also shows a significantly larger metallicity spread.
