We present an overview of typical oxygen-rich AGB-variables covering a wide range of mass loss rates (between about 10-8 and 10-6 Modot yr-1) and pulsational properties ranging from typical Miras over Semiregular to small amplitude Irregular variables. Empirical dust emissivities are derived by subtraction of the stellar photospheric emission, thus making possible an investigation of the mineralogical properties of the circumstellar dust.
