Using a general relativistic framework we have obtained closed form solutions useful to calculate the relativistic periastron shift and orbital period in star-black-hole binary systems. These analytical solutions valid in weak and strong gravitational fields do not neglect possible relativistic rotational effects due to spin-orbit interactions. Our numerical results suggest that the spin-orbit interaction diminishes (increases) the value of the periastron shift as well as the orbital period when the star orbits in the same (opposite) direction as the rotating black hole.
