Presentation of an analytical argument on validity of cosmological redshift for all three cases of flat, closed and open universes in FRW cosmology is the main goal of this talk. This is accomplished by solving Maxwell's equations in a background curvature given by FRW line element where the effect of curvature on electromagnetic fields has been mitigated by considering the fields in a macroscopic medium whose permittivity and permeability are functions of the background curvature. Solutions to Maxwell's equations are presented in compact algebraic forms and their asymptotic behaviors at large distances are used to confirm the validity of cosmological redshift for each type of the FRW universes, separately.
