Although there is generally good agreement between the composition of the galactic cosmic ray (GCR) source and the solar system, the GCR ^22Ne is significantly overabundant relative to the solar system composition. The possibility that ^22Ne has an origin different from that of other GCR species motivates our investigation of whether the energy spectrum of ^22Ne is different from other GCR species. Measurements of the energy dependence of ^22Ne/^20Ne could help in distinguishing among competing models which suggest this overabundance results from a mixed source of origin for the cosmic rays. We have used high statistics measurements of the isotopic composition of GCR Ne from the Cosmic Ray Isotope Spectrometer (CRIS) on the Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) to study the energy dependence of the ^22Ne/^20Ne ratio over the energy range ~100-350 MeV/nucleon. We will report preliminary results from CRIS.
