Cosmological Constant

Scientific paper

The author's purpose is to study the asymptotic behaviour of cosmological wave functions in the region of superspace where det(metric) = ∞. He considers curves σy in superspace, with lim(detσy) = ∞, and by means of a family of these curves an asymptotic region in det(metric) = ∞ is defined. The behaviour of solutions to the Einstein-Hamilton-Jacobi equation along the curves σy is analysed. From this analysis the author deduces for the wave functions of the universe the following behaviour in that asymptotic region: dissipative (dispersive) if Λ > 0 (resp. Λ < 0).
