In this work the metric is coupled with a scalar field φ in a simple way. Although this coupling becomes problematic because the energy density of φ appears to be unbounded from below, it is displayed as a very simple coupling leading to a nonsingular cosmological model with an early antigravity regime. A basic study of the inflationary period and various suggestions are presented.
