More realistic numerical values of the atomic partition functions U(r) for Ti-I, Ti-II, Ti-III, V-I, V-II, and V-III are given. The U(r) values are calculated in the temperature range of 2000-40,000 K, for the lowering of the ionization energy in the range of E(r) from 0.01 eV to 2 eV. The E(r) range from 0.1 to 0.01 corresponds to standard physical conditions in stellar atmospheres and partially to laboratory arc plasma conditions.
