The paper presents a plot of spectral indices between 38 MHz and 404 MHz at low Galactic longitudes and latitudes. The indices are based on the absolutely calibrated surveys of Milogradov-Turin and Smith (1973) and Pauliny-Toth and Shakeshaft (1962), made with antennas having similar aerial patterns with half-power beamwidths of about 7 and one-half degrees.
