Recent broadband photometry is presented for some selected hot white dwarfs emitting in the extreme ultraviolet and X-ray range 50-500 A. The data were obtained using the Channel Multiplier Array (CMA) detector on board Exosat. Sources of opacity other than hydrogen were found in some but not all of the stars. In contrast to previous observations, no helium jump was found in HZ 43, permitting very stringent upper limits to the trace amounts of helium in the X-ray photosphere. The spectrum of Feige 24 was similar to the spectrum predicted for a low-gravity subdwarf. Estimates of the temperature of Sirius B were consistent with observations in the ultraviolet, far ultraviolet, and optical ranges. The count rate spectrum of Sirius B was fitted with a pure hydrogen log(g) = 8 model of effective temperature, yielding a value of 27,500 K. The raw count rate spectra of the white dwarfs are reproduced in graphic form.
