Mars-7 and Prognoz-3 measurements of electron fluxes with energies of
40-500 keV in interplanetary space are examined. An analysis of the
intensity, anisotropy, and variations of fluxes near leading shock
fronts, as well as a comparison with data from other spacecraft,
indicates that these electron fluxes have a Jovian origin.
