Topics discussed include the relationship between cosmic rays in the stratosphere and solar activity; zonal modulation and the anomalous component of cosmic rays; the dynamics of electron fluxes in geostationary orbit and their connection with solar activity; features characterizing the dynamics of the longitudinal distribution of sunspots; and the origin of the solar magnetic field. Attention is also given to shock waves from supernovae as sources of high-energy cosmic rays; large-scale disturbances of the solar wind and cosmic-ray acceleration in the interplanetary medium; the acceleration of relativistic particles in solar flares; large-scale variations of cosmic rays induced by variations of the solar magnetic field; and the effect of the solar magnetic field on the 11-year cycle and anomalous phenomena in galactic cosmic rays.
