A study was made at radio wavelengths to detect continuum emission from several O-type and Wolf-Rayet type stars and of any associated nebula, located off the galactic plane. Within a radius of 10 arcmin in each field of view, the authors found typically only one unrelated background radio source with a continuum flux density stronger than 10 mJy at λ20.5 cm.
