New photometric observations of the central star of the bipolar planetary nebula NGC 2346 have been made in September and October 1984. The periodic light curve (P ≡ 16.0 d) is shown to be totally dephased with that obtained by Kohoutek in January 1982. To take into account this new result, the eclipse models of Mendez et al. (1984) and Roth et al. (1984) are somewhat modified in the letter. A three component elongated toroidal cloud of cold dust is involved; this cloud is assumed to be rotating around the center of the nebula with a velocity near to 40 R_sun;/yr.
