Frequency separation delta nu between consecutive modes have been
computed for rapidly oscillating stars. It is shown that delta nu is a
good indicator of the star's position in the main sequence band. These
results are applied to Kurtz (1980 and 1982) observations of HD 101065
and HD 24712. The problem of HD 83368 is also discussed.
