The linear polarizations of several extragalactic radio sources in a restricted celestial angular zone encompassing the Gum nebula area have been measured at a wavelength of 2.8 cm using the Algonquin Radio Observatory, and at wavelengths of 2.0, 6.1, and 20.5 cm using the Very Large Array. These polarization measurements complement and extend a continuing program to study localized effects from specific zones of our Galaxy.
