The energetics of the sporadic flares, quiet chromospheres and coronae, and coronal spots, of UV Cet-type flare stars are quantitatively compared. A statistical analysis of about 1800 flares registered for 23 flare stars is the basis for the estimation of the time-averaged powers of flare optical radiation and the construction of the flare energy spectra. The specroscopic observation of 26 flare stars between flares is used to determine the total Balmer line radiation of quiet chromospheres. It is concluded that the total power of nonequilibrium processes in flare star atmospheres is near the total star spot radiation deficit in these stars.
