A ground-based CCD picture of the relatively local dwarf irregular
galaxy Sextans B is used to simulate a Space Telescope Planetary Camera
image of a similar galaxy at the distance of the Virgo cluster. The
gains to be had with the Space Telescope are discussed graphically.
