A search was made for microseisms on Venus via the Groza-2 experiments on Venera 13 and 14. No microseisms were detected by Venera-13, but it is believed that two microseisms were detected by Venera-14 (although other factors, such as spacecraft effects or a wind gust, could have been responsible for the registrations). One seism had an amplitude somewhat greater than 80 x 10 the -6th cm (about 950 sec after landing), while the other seism had a smaller amplitude (about 1361 sec after landing).
